Thank you for visiting my website. I’m a husband, father and lawyer. I also served our country for 27 years in the Marine Corps and never before considered holding public office. But after my second tour of duty in Iraq, I found the stakes are too high to sit on the sidelines, and so I ran for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2006.

The Bush administration is not being fully honest with Americans about the situation in Iraq and the agenda at home; therefore it’s my duty to speak out when our safety and future are at risk. Furthermore, Republicans in Congress have given President Bush and corrupt “K Street�? lobbyists a blank check and rubber stamp for their selfish agenda. President Bush and Republican leaders have taken us down the wrong path.

It’s time to address the real challenges facing American families, such as health care, education and the economic and retirement security we all deserve.
